The South African musician and dancer Lungelihle Zwane, well famous by her professional moniker Uncle Waffles, has been called “a worldwide ambassador for amapiano” for her contributions to the genre.
She recruited the help of experienced music giants Shakes and Les for the vocals on this electronic party classic, and they both delivered excellent performances.
Her most recent extended playlist, “Asylum EP,” has “Sgubhuandro,” and it’s just her second release; she has no plans to break into the mainstream anytime soon.
