Lyta signed with Naira Marley’s Marlian Records in 2020. In addition, “Hold Me Down (Omo Gidi),” the first single on his label, was made available to the public.
TG Omori was influenced by the music videos of Korean boy bands GOT7 and BTS when making the “Hold Me Down” music video.
Lyta, whose actual name is Babatunde Rahim, is one of Nigeria’s most popular and influential musicians. The strength and energy of the genre may be heard in his songs as examples.
